NeauxLArise is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth, adults, and families through education, career, and counseling services that inspire growth, resilience, and opportunity. We believe that everyone deserves access to the support and resources needed to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

NeauxLArise was established on May 16, 2024, and officially became a recognized trade name and trademark on December 3, 2025. On March 3, 2026, the organization proudly received its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status under the leadership of Dr. Shrylin M. Davis, an experienced professional with over 15 years of higher education experience and grant writing experience, as well as owned and operated a consulting company for over five years.

Dr. Davis brings a strong academic and professional foundation to the organization, holding an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Delgado Community College, a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans, and a Doctorate in Education from Capella University. Her passion for service and commitment to education and community development are the driving forces behind NeauxLArise.

The vision for NeauxLArise was born from recognizing the unique challenges faced by first-generation college students and low-income families across Louisiana. In response, the organization was created to provide accessible, high-quality educational support, workforce development, and counseling services that meet individuals where they are and guide them toward success.

Through innovative programming, personalized support, and community partnerships, NeauxLArise is dedicated to breaking down barriers to learning, strengthening families, and building brighter futures.
